The Uravan Ballpark

Also the staging area for the race, the Ballpark has designated camping spaces. There are Porta-Potties. Campers are responsible for bringing their own water. We encourage people to try and camp at the Ballpark and hang out before and after the race! For more information on the post-race hangs and parking, click here. Camping is free but optional donations to the Rimrocker Historical Society (who maintains the park) are encouraged. Donate with some cash once you get there or with Paypal by clicking here.

Camp V

Camp V (~25 minute drive from the Ballpark) offers a variety of great camping setups, from a place to car camp, to boutique canvas tents (glamping). Hot showers and other amenities are also available. To make a reservation and find out more, visit their site by clicking here.

Public Lands

The surrounding area (commonly referred to as the “West End”) is home to an expansive amount of public land, much of which is open to dispersed primitive camping if you prefer open spaces and some solitude. If you plan to camp on public lands we ask that you please stay on designated roads and familiarize yourself with Leave No Trace practices.
